Some SOOC shots out of my Sony Mavica FD-90, with the resolution set to its maximum 1472x1104 resolution. While the shots did turn out nice, I want to try out the native 1280x768 resolution next (1472x1104 is a 'supersampled' resolution, not a true sensor res).

I'm trying to balance quality with the iconic 'crust' that old digital cameras like the Mavica have in their photos. My new camera bag lets me carry up to 30 floppy disks because I can fit about three disk containers that can fit ten disks a piece, so storage capacity isn't much of a concern anymore - when I could only carry about six, capacity mattered a lot more than it does now. So, we'll see what the native res gets me!

Here is a shot from my Sony Mavica FD95, A floppy disk camera from the year 2000, showing off the lil 3D printed Cheeti, that was painted and all. Commissioned by my wonderful friend @[email protected] !

Got my Mavica photos from this year's AnthrOhio up on my site! Unfortunately due to technical difficulties I didn't get nearly as many photos but I really tried to make what I got count!

Finally got the chance to take some photos around Liverpool on my Sony Mavica FD200 that @ABitOLace kindy gave to me. Considering the fact that this is a digital camera that's as old as I am these photos are actually really good when viewed in their native resolution.

Merry Christmas!
I did the B&W conversion on my computer because I forgot to enable the Mavica's B&W "picture effect".
