Well... It was working. The API's /history endpoint is totally broken now.
Watching development on Floppy is a fun demonstration of what a Claude account and no actual programming knowledge is capable of.
I should probably just switch over to Yamtrack before there's too much watch history after the Trakt API lockout that I need to manually re-add again.

Alright. I managed to replace my old Trakt feed in Glance with a new Floppy feed.
Now I need to clean up the spaghetti code and submit a pull request with Glance to get it listed in the Community Widgets. (I also need to update my old Trakt widget to note that its functionality is now locked behind Trakt's paywall.)
The Glance dev hasn't actually approved any pull requests in a while, so not sure how long that'll take...

Floppy looks like a potentially viable self hosted replacement, since Trakt is apparently speedrunning the dumbest enshittification path possible.

Using 86Box to check out some fresh Windows 95 floppy disks I found on the Internet Archive. I'm comparing them to other versions, I already had in my retro archive. This is Windows 95 4.00.950 OEM. It works! :computerfairies:

As a semi-normal, semi-sane person, I've always viewed 3½" floppies with the label end being the top.
So much so that it didn't click until a few years ago that the weird "CH" logo was actually... HD inverted. 🤦
Today, I'm archiving and scanning disks, and what do I notice? LOOK WHAT APPLE DID.
Wait, was that common? Did I overlook it all this time? No, I flipped through hundreds of disks, and this is the ONLY one I have with the HD right-side up!
