Wir sehen die 5 1/4" Festplatte mit voller Bauhöhe von oben. Die Deckplatte ist durch Plexiglas ersetzt und lässt den Blick auf die Scheiben durch. 1 Euro als Größenvergleich.

Wir blicken auf eine ausgestellte IBM 705 EDPM, ein Röhrenrechner der 1960er Jahre im Hintergrund. Im Vordergrund die Adminkonsole mit der man alle Register der Maschine lesen konnte und der OpCode ist auch aufgezeichnet. Im Fokus die Tastatur mit einer ABCDEFG.. Belegung.

When you unpack the tarball of gcc-2.9 and start compiling and it stops with the strange error, that the built stuff is older than the content of the tarball. Welcome on my #Cray, which remains in 1993.

Hollerith or IBM?

We found something older than our Siemens Telephonysystem from 1922.

It is a manual card punch from the Deutsche Hollerith Maschinen Gesellschaft M.B.H. Berlin from 1920.
