I bought my first MiniDisc device (Sony MZ-R55 💽) with my employee discount at Circuit City in November, 1999. I was already the privileged owner of an Aiwa shelf stereo with 3-CD changer, dual tape deck, and TOSLINK optical output, so I was able to create seamless digital mixes of tracks from my favorite albums and artists *long* before anyone I knew had even heard of burning a CD, much less done it themselves.

Y volviendo a casa he visto en una tienda de reparación de móviles que tenían videocámaras y digicams en el escaparate. Ya es cuando me he fijado que habían dos cintas Mini DV y un Minidisc y por supuesto los he comprado, no estaban mal de precio. Eso si, el Minidisc está en blanco :(

As an aside, every time I look at MiniDisc I'm reminded of "Strange Days" and how they were used in that film.
