"DPaint.js" by 'Steffest' is a web-based image editor with a focus on Amiga file formats, heavily inspired by the classic DPaint. It can read and write all types of Amiga icons and IFF images. According to the author, two years of work on bug fixes and optimisations have gone into the new version 0.2.0 which provides new Amiga and Atari specific features:

The image editor PyDPainter is inspired by DPaint and according to its author Mark Riale an attempt to create a usable pixel art program in Python using PyGame that can handle low resolutions and limited colour palettes and which can be as easy to use as possible.
