Dort wird beschrieben, dass der Held Achilleus/Achilles sie zur Wundheilung entdeckt haben soll. Tatsächlich wird sie als Arzneipflanze gegen diverse Beschwerden eingesetzt.
Zuchtformen der #GemeineSchafgarbe gibt es in vielen Farben, eigentlich ist sie aber weiß.
