A walk around Swindon on Thursday found some Wall Bellflower still going. It's common on walls around the centre of Swindon, but was hit hard by the drought. #WildflowerHour #Swindon #Wiltshire #Bloomscrolling #botany #plants #flowers #wildflowers #photography

There are still a few Fox And Cubs plants flowering in my front yard after the summer was too dry for them to try. I love all my weeds/wildflowers, but I think these are my favourite. #WildflowerHour #Swindon #Wiltshire #Bloomscrolling #botany #plants #flowers #wildflowers #photography

And suddenly the huge Fleabane plant in my front yard is over. Just one very bedraggled flower with some petals on. Time to admit that mandatory fleabane season is finished. Farewell until next year. #WildflowerHour #Swindon #Wiltshire #Bloomscrolling #botany #plants #flowers #wildflowers #photography

I encourage weeds in my front yard (as you may have noticed). I was a bit taken aback when Hemp Agrimony set up there - it's huge. I eventually had to trim it because I couldn't get to my front door while the car was parked. The insects love it, though. #WildflowerHour #Swindon #Wiltshire #Bloomscrolling #botany #plants #flowers #wildflowers #photography
