I was going to share a pretty photo I’d taken, and then head to bed. But I tripped over this photo, so you’ll just have to deal with it.
For reasons lost in the mists of time (Google+ was still a thing), Mollie and I were talking about the term “Willy Warmer”. No, I don’t know why. Somehow how this got conflated with Doctor Who (they’re both British?) and Mollie suggested that if you were to inscribe something on one, it should say, “It’s Bigger On The Inside”.
I mentioned this to my online friend crowd (on Google+), and Kimberley Chapman, a cake designer, knitter, and Doctor Who (and Star Trek) fanatic, was inspired to celebrate the concept by actually making one!
Apparently it led to some interesting park bench conversations while she was working on it.
She offered to send me the completed piece, but the proportions are somewhat out of my weight class, and we couldn’t quite imagine hanging it over the mantelpiece. As far as I know, she still has the original. But I did memeify a photo of it.

CW: Podcast episode on #SayHerName and one woman's story.
Atatiana Jefferson was in her bedroom playing videogames with her nephew when a cop doing a "wellness check" on her mom shot her, instants after seeing her through her window. Kimberlé Crenshaw's latest #IntersectionalityMatters podcast, on the #SayHerName movement and the Jefferson family's story, is disturbing, heart-wrenching, and a powerful reminder that every person killed by police is a full world, destroyed. https://on.soundcloud.com/oZYTb

"[T]he worst thing that happened to Black history during #BlackHistoryMonth was not Ron DeSantis banning critical concepts and approaches—it was the College Board revising its new #AfricanAmericanStudies curriculum to meet all of his demands. But now scholars in #BlackHistory, #BlackStudies and related fields are fighting back. #KimberléCrenshaw will explain. She founded the #AfricanAmericanPolicyForum."

'Dr Naomi Mayers, also known as Aunty Nay, changed the landscape of Aboriginal healthcare across the country.
She is credited with turning self-determination into a model of care that is still used today by Aboriginal-controlled medical services from WA's Kimberley region to the bustling streets of Sydney.
The prominent health leader, activist and original member of The Sapphires singing group died aged 84 on Saturday.' https://www.abc.net.au/news/2026-04-07/dr-naomi-mayers-aboriginal-health-leader-the-sapphires-singer/106534236

So I wound up with a nasty sinus infection, because of course I did. And the doctor prescribed an antibiotic that’s tearing my guts apart, because of course they did.
I accidentally took one of the many weird spur trails, only to have to backtrack and beeline back uphill to find the trail I should have been on. Other than that, it’s a cool trail.
I could use a bit of better luck, or less misfortune, here. I can’t really afford shenanigans right now. #running #trailrunning #whiny SelfPity -

What are the different decaf methods and how do they affect coffee flavour?
Decaffeinated coffees used to have a bad reputation which means that even today many people think of decaf coffees as having no taste, or even a bad chemical taste. But thankfully times have changed, and modern speciality decafs use the same types of high-quality coffee beans and remove the caffeine using far gentler and less toxic methods than earlier decafs resulting in more of the rich flavour compounds remaining in the coffee. Sugar cane method The earliest form of decaffeination was […] -
