It seems like nearly 💯% of the selfies I see, here and elsewhere, are mirror images. Probably nearly all of them I’d never know, nor care, except for the ones with text. Most of the time with those it doesn’t matter either. But when you’re taking a selfie of yourself in a t-shirt with cute or clever or profound or just funny text, how fucking hard can it be to take 10 seconds or however long it takes, to reverse the image so it can be read? 🤬 -
CW: Why Mastodon Will Fail
The past few days I've been trying to find worthwhile people to follow on here and, as I think I have posted about before, it is so so so difficult.
The vast majority of #mastodon instances are filled with a bunch of, frankly, #losers. Too many #rules. Too #whiny. Too #fragile. Can't handle #online #banter. #safespace nonsense. Literally like #ai #npcs. All they do is repost #politics shit. No original #thoughts or #ideas. No #personality. Incapable of having #fun. Everything is an attack. #Criticism is #hatespeech. It's exhausting to be around. I can't imagine having a #mindset like that.
I might post a bunch of, what appears to be #deranged stuff, but it's all in good fun. Like a #creative #writing exercise. Most of it is not serious at all.
What happened to just horsing around online?
I guess I'll keep searching.

So I wound up with a nasty sinus infection, because of course I did. And the doctor prescribed an antibiotic that’s tearing my guts apart, because of course they did.
I accidentally took one of the many weird spur trails, only to have to backtrack and beeline back uphill to find the trail I should have been on. Other than that, it’s a cool trail.
I could use a bit of better luck, or less misfortune, here. I can’t really afford shenanigans right now. #running #trailrunning #whiny SelfPity -

I need to hire a consulting firm to find out how to bring my Rogers bill down because it seems it just inches higher and higher.

$168.25 / month including taxes and feesI use half that data a month. But mainly the fees are killing me. I could move and reduce my fee but I'd rather stay with Rogers if possible.
I think the key reason this has went on so long is that I'd rather scoop my eyeballs out with a spoon than argue with Rogers over the phone.

Oh, I am so tired of being ill. I've had an upper respiratory infection for two weeks tomorrow (finally have antibiotics) but in addition to the cough, my sinuses are always either hard as a rock or draining profusely. The cough last week also did something to my ribs, which are now in a constant state of dull ache, which in certain places becomes a sharp pain when I'm coughing. And, perhaps worst of all, the coughing also seems to have given me a cervicogenic headache, which is possible the most agonizing kind of headache I've experienced. My pain level hovers consistently around an 8 or a 9, worsened when I move my neck at all or cough.
I have some muscle relaxants as of today to try for my neck. Here's hoping I feel well again someday!
