Of course at Elberry Cove there is an abundance of characterful Shannies (Lipophrys pholis) in all their rich variety of colouration & pattern; like rockskippers they can survive out of water.

#Crustaceans at Elberry Cove included European Edible Crab (Cancer pagurus), Rockpool Prawn (Palaemon elegans) & Northern Acorn Barnacle (Semibalanus balanoides). Also a lovely Snakelocks Anemone (Anemonia viridis). #UKWildlife #UKNature #MarineLife #crustacean #crab #nature #wildlife #crabs #invert
