I can't have caffeine during the weekdays because it makes me jittery with my ADHD medication.
I am very lucky that my friends are roasters (https://neemcoffee.com/) and give me access to decaf that has actual flavor. I normally drink Guilder decaf in the afternoon, but today I opened this decaf from Neem and WOW. It's like a party in my mouth. Definitely not an every day coffee, and yes, it's pricy, but it's worth it.

We're a bit low on #coffee atm (for a Roastery) but we have a pallet coming either Friday or early next week which means they'll be on our website by the end of next week.
We had a request for more #organic, as only one of our #decaf is fully organic atm, so they'll be at least one for that.
In short, we'll do a newsletter when available. Sometimes we attach an offer to it (not promising, depends how busy we are).

We're roasting and posting #coffee today. We use Royal Mail 24 hour tracked who usually deliver at the weekend (inc Sunday).
Essentially, any orders made in the next hour or so before midday will go out today and you should have freshly roasted coffee for the weekend.

It took fifteen (15) minutes for me to get a solo elevator to the top of seven (7) world trade #today. Twelve (12) elevators, not even close to my record, 23 to go up solo and 8 to go down.
Was just in time for my meeting.

It was a bit of a risk us getting more #decaf #coffee than normal in.
However, we (as the husband & wife team that runs Roasting House) drink more decaf than anything else so it made sense.
We usually would only have up to two in stock (but always at least one). Getting the extra decaf adds about 25% to the volume of stock we normally hold which means paying for more in advance effecting cashflow (which is everything for a SME).
We're pleased new customers have found us because of it, old customers have switched some "normal" coffee to it. Basically, it's been a success so we'll keep it.
We currently have four very different decafs in stock. If you get a subscription then you'll eventually try all of them or there are a couple of multipack options.
If you have decaf questions ask us, we're becoming quite the expert on them.

HR found out and I was given a warning.
I was already planning to bail a few weeks later to start my own business anyway.

Did you know we do really good decaf coffee? Since one half of the Roasting House team can't have much caffeine these days we're getting through a lot of it ourselves and it is incredibly delicious with a rich chocolatey taste.

I made the transition to fully #decaf at home, and it's been a couple of months of only drinking caffeinated coffee occasionally, at cafés or in the office (so maybe once or twice per week, which is orders of magnitude less than what I drank before), and...
I don't feel any different, to be honest. I'm not sure what had I expected, maybe something like sleeping better, or feeling less tired, but no, everything feels exactly the same.
I'm not going back to caffeinated coffee, but still, I'm slightly disappointed 😅
