Haciendo downgrade de #pyqt5 en @archlinux, a veces hay que esperar un poco para que todo el ecosistema de paquetes funcione correctamente.
En este caso, gns3-gui ha quedado atrás y no carga con la nueva release de python-pyqt5 en Arch.

Depuis une mise à jour d'#ArchLinux, #OpenNTPD (de OpenBSD) ne synchronise plus l'horloge. Retour au traditionnel #ntpd, qui marche. (Et qui permet de restreindre les accès par adresse IP.)

I currently have #Obsidian installed via #ArchLinux's repos. I've just noticed that it depends on FUSE 2†, and I'm not sure why.
I have read that the AppImage version needs it, but I thought that's more because of AppImage than Obsidian.
So, questions:
- Any idea why Obsidian needs FUSE at all? Is it just Arch, or universal?
- How to people feel about the #Flatpak version of Obsidian?
- If you're running Obsidian on Arch, are you using the one from the repos or the Flatpak version?
† I noticed this because we're currently trying to migrate #plptools from FUSE 2 to FUSE 3, and I was wondering what other things on my system depended on FUSE 2.

#TIL for multi-monitor setup in #archlinux, first use `arandr` and choose the layout. Next save it with `autorandr -s <name>`. Finally do an `exec --no-startup-id autorandr --change` in #i3 config.
For #polybar use `inherit` to define another bar with same config. `pin-workspaces=true` to show only the workspace available on a monitor.

Playing with #Hyprland on this newly installed #ArchLinux I've set up on my old #T470 and dear whatever you believe in! It's amazing!
Right now I'm just running the bare, stock config but it still looks sooooo nice and the computer seems to have gained more power for some reason =D

GrapheneOS is being heavily targeted by the French state because we provide highly secure devices and won't include backdoors for law enforcement access. They're conflating us with companies selling closed source products using portions of our code.
Both French state media and corporate media are publishing many stories attacking the GrapheneOS project based on false and unsubstantiated claims from French law enforcement.
They've made a clear threat to seize our servers and arrest our developers if we do not cooperate by adding backdoors. Due to this, we're leaving France and leaving French service providers including OVH. We need substantial help from the community to push back against this across platforms.
People malicious towards us are also using it as an opportunity to spread libel/harassment content targeting our team, raid our chat rooms and much more. /e/ and iodéOS are both based in France, and are both actively attacking GrapheneOS. /e/ receives substantial government funding. Both are extremely non-private and insecure which is why France is targeting us while those get government funding.
We need a lot more help than usual and we're sending our the first ever notification to everyone on the server because this is a particularly bad situation. If people help us, it will enable us to focus more on development again including releasing experimental Pixel 10 releases very soon.

This is a Cinnamon desktop (currently. not sure what i was doing when i asked that. i'll have to try it and see what it looks like today. i am determined to get #i3wm #swayfx and / or #Hyprland to function correctly on this system @linkachus17 ~! 🐞
I was checking out #kdevelop which seems really badass and well-put-together so to speak. i'm sure there's a better 90's word, i mean, 2025's word for it.
anyway.
it's just too much to try to get all of the details. for me, at least. but i did get that far!
