I just sent the emails as suggested by @chatcontrol because #surveillance is just one of the first steps toward #oppression . Thank you for the work you have done formulating the emails. I wouldn’t find the words anywhere near as nice or calm. It makes me angry and sad that I have to repeat this procedure every couple of months 🤬.

The "Chat Control" proposal would legalise scanning of all private digital communications, including encrypted messages and photos. This threatens fundamental privacy rights and digital security for all EU citizens.

* ChatControl tietysti heikentäisi kaikkien tietosuojaa, koska se on siviilitiedustelulaki. Mutta sitä ajetaan kuin käärmettä pyssyyn käyttäen nimenomaan lasten suojelua valheellisena perusteluna. Oikeasti se vaarantaisi myös lasten yksityisyydensuojan.
