Hyprland confuses me. If I have a workspace on one monitor, I cant flip to that workspace on another monitor, it just focuses the first monitor. Workspaces also live on the monitor they are first opened on? Or maybe I am missing something here.
I might need to get out of Niri-brain.

Another downside: Your #Hyprland config files are now *executable code,* running with your privileges. Be *especially* careful when grabbing config snippets or whole dot-files off the Interwebz.

OMFG.
For the last several releases, #Hyprland has used a custom-kluged config syntax called Hyprlang. Personally, I never understood why they thought that was the way to go in the first place. Even so, with every major release, the syntax got tweaked a bit, and you had to update your config files to use the latest shiny.
Today, I've learned that Hyprland 0.55.x has abandoned Hyprlang, and has switched over to Lua.
I mean... Yay, Lua; but BOO, another *%^$#!! config rewrite.

I converted my Hyprland config to Lua! I wouldn't call it easy, mostly because I'm so old that I make a lot of dumb mistakes. Also I had a number of scripts that use Hyprctl, and I had to change the syntax there as well.
Now the only thing that doesn't work is clicking the workspace buttons in my Waybar. The Waybar workspace function doesn't work properly in the Lua environment. If anyone knows how to fix this, I'm all ears.

Hey y'all !
I have successfully and after a full day's work, been able to migrate the #XeroLinux #Hyprland config to LUA.
Also the standalone script has been killed off. We migrated to only have it in T.U.I. Wiki was updated reflecting this change.

Great news y'all !!!
Work on the #XeroLinux TUI has concluded. We have added better support for #BTRFS with snapper n and Grub-BTRFS pre-configured out the box.
We have also added option to install #Hyprland with the #Noctalia Shell slightly pre-configured for a good starting point.
