I added two more cameras last night.
I could create a separate scene in the file for each camera/shot, but when I did the (very complex) "Press Conference" sequence, I minimized the waste by using the VSE to select only the shots I wanted to render -- the intervening spaces just got filled with black.
That was important, because each fully-rendered frame takes minutes of time, so if it's not going to be in the show, then I probably don't want to burn the cycles rendering that.
But the empty black frames, while they do take up some space, are a simple way to keep the frames in alignment, which saves effort during the editing phase.
OTOH, if you cut too close, then you eliminate the ability to make directing choices in the editing phase. So it's kind of iterative.
Not sure how many total I'm going to create, or if I'll use the same approach. The multicam really shines when you're doing dialog and you need to cut back and forth between shots of the participants in the dialog. #LunaticsProject #Blender3D #Multicam -

6/ Notice in the previous that the original stream says the quality is only “Good" whereas the others are “Excellent”.
I have the original set to 4K quality, to match the resolution (3840x2160) from the cameras. But they only put out a bitrate of 8Mbps, less than half what Youtube wants (23Mbps) to achieve "Excellent" for 4K.
The two new cameras are set to 1440p in Youtube but I think the picture is worse. I'll probably set them all to 4K #webcam #PortAlberni #multicam #panorama #tech #mess

5/ OH YA! A little bit of copy/paste in the nginx.conf file to accept two new streams from the camera, then create two new stream key's on Youtube for each new camera. Pop in the new stream keys into nginx and restart the server and bam:
We now have three operational Live Feeds from Alberniweather! Too bad two of them are of my ceiling! :D

2/ Thread!
You might remember after Christmas I had a second webcam up to watch the snowman. The connection wasn't waterproof and it shorted in the wet.I fixed the camera's cable today! I clipped off the end, figured out the RJ45 wiring, and attached it in a watertight adapter. Success!
This will be Camera #2 - "Alberniweather West". The hardware should be ready to go on the roof tomorrow so I am working on the camera configs tonight.
