This is a fairly slow and meandering modular, synth, and guitar piece that I recorded in one take yesterday for January ambient challenge.
I’m finding messing about with video quite engaging lately too. It’s quite fun to explore ways of juxtaposing and blending clips. Videos with my family in the mountains at different times of the year is what I circled around this time.

#Kdenlive doesn't work on Android. #LumaFusion doesn't work on Linux. This is an example of what #OpenTimelineIO would attempt to solve.
Kdenlive currently supports this but not LumaFusion. That's a bummer.

Der Play Store empfiehlt mir auf dem Galaxy Tab S7+ neuerdings ganz heiß die Videoschnitt-Software #LumaFusion (28 €) und das ist glaube ich das erste Mal, dass ich von einer Videoschnitt-App für Android lese, die kein bloßes Spielzeug ist. (Brauch’s selbst nicht.) Traurig, wie viele Jahre das auf der Plattform gebraucht hat.

Takie programy do montowania filnów by się przydały dostępne z #nvda
Ale mam tu coś co mogłoby zaciekawić #LumaFusion to jest #apka na #ios i #android do montowania. Nawed z nimi coś tam pisałem i nawet im coś wysłałem z neta odnośnie dostępności i powiedzieli że poprawią tą apkę pod kątem obsługi z czytnikiem ekranu. Z krótkiej wymiany emailami zdaje się że są zainteresowani dostępnością, więc jak ktoś się zna lepiej niż ja w tej kwestii np @Piciok to mógłby z nimi lepiej coś pogadać. Może coś fajnego wyjdzie.
Niby apka jest płatna ok 135 zł, ale ja ją dostałem zadarmo od nich bo poprosiłem ich że chcę ją przetestować z talkbackiem zanim ją kupię. Wydaję się że deweloperzy są spoko, niby jeszcze aktualizacji nie wydali, no ale zapowiada się coś fajnego. -

it’s great to hear that #LumaTouch is expanding their reach like that, though I won’t be using #LumaFusion on either of my Android devices and will likely never give a crap about ChromeOS. I’m quite happy with the iPad for the kind of videos I normally make. so far even the fancier videos I’ve tried have been handled well by what I’ve got to work with.
this just means that other folk can put their visions together easily. that’s a good thing!

Just got paid out from my Youtube and I instantly bought #LumaFusion from the PlayStore. It might be overkill but damn it's nice.

tablets, specifically my (4th gen) iPad Air, are *vital* if you make videos and are unable to spend $400+ on Final Cut Pro or its equivalent on other platforms.
I edit with #LumaFusion, which currently only works on iOS. (I understand they’re working on a #Linux version now, but my Linux box is old and slow.)
LumaFusion cost me about $30, and I think it’s still around that price point.
editing videos is what lured me over to the dark side, aka Apple products.

Looks like #LumaFusion on iPad (and now M1 Macs) has rudimentary support for #/tags in the Notes field. That could be a start.
