Michal Jaros has always been fascinated by #Trains. Now aged 29, he works on board the Canopus, the night train linking Prague to Zurich. Whilst other European #Rail companies are gradually phasing out this mode of transport, ČD Night, a small Czech company, is trying to expand its network of #Sleeper carriages.

Whoever put together LA Union Station in Train Sim World 6 apparently doesn't know what "an interlocking series of switches" also known as just "an interlock" for short, is.
Which sucks because this means if you skip time in any timetable involving LA Union Station, the NPC trains could choke the ladder into LA Union, because it's not an interlock in game. Dumb.

Originally completed in 1869 as the the first railroad bridge built over navigable waters West of the Missouri River, it was replaced with this version in 1942.

Willows, Queensland, late in the day. The low sun backlights the dry grass on either side of the tracks, turning every seed-head silver against the orange sky. Grass has grown so thick between the rails that the line reads as almost forgotten, just two thin strips of metal pushing toward the treeline. Fascinating picture of a Canadian locomotive hauling a string of newly built locomotives for export to Great Britain.
The difference in loading gauge (i.e. how big trains can be in a region) is radical, where North American trains are huge compared to the locomotives going for export.
