I have to go to BUF in October. I’d like to take #Amtrak but my options are:

1. Lake Shore Limited - leave BOS at noon, arrive BUF 01:00.

2. Regional to NYC, then Empire Service to BUF. Leave ~06:00, arrive 21:00.

Haven’t looked at the returns yet.

Well that’s a first. #Amtrak 687 just left Boston North Station without any passengers. Announced delay, eventually announced gate, then slowly left as we all walked up to board. Weirdest thing. Gate agent has no idea why and is unable to get anyone at Amtrak on the phone. Good times. #trains #boston.

I got tickets a while back to the Portland Art Museum today for the Hockney exhibit and had planned to drive down from #OlyWA but at the last minute we remembered trains exist. I love trains! This has been such a relaxing day now that we’ve eliminated the driving part. Even better?
