I like it, but I wish it was pivoted more towards earnest sharing of real life stuff and less tiktok reposting.

I wanted a federated, FOSS clone of #Beme, and I got a not-yet-federated-but-soon, not-yet-FOSS-but-soon tiktok clone. Meh?

• Get into #todoTxt / #todoSh because you're desperately trying to get organized
• Dump everything swimming around in your head into your todo.txt so your noggin can finally be free
• Adopt @proycon's excellent [todo.txt-more] scripts to extend todo.sh into time management
• Write your own [wrapper scripts] around todo.txt-more to add your own little flourishes and features
• Use it for over a year, adding tons of todo items and time accounting
• Finally give up and just use [vi dayplan.md] because you're #ADHD as frick and the sheer number of todo items freezes your blood X'D

P.S. I'd really love a #Fedi version of #Beme (think #Vine, but more authentic).
I can't imagine a video-based Fediverse service, though. That would be a TON of storage, unless it had something like a TTL of 1 hour

#BeReal social reminds me a little bit of my old favorite, #Beme, which I miss terribly.

However, it's got five trackers, among them Huawei Mobile Services Core. Uhhh, NO WAY.

I still miss Beme.

It was surprisingly an incredibly authentic video-based social network that never quite got off the ground. I almost never post to #youtube, never cared about #vine, and wouldn't touch #tiktok with a ten foot pole.

But #Beme was special, and I posted on it quite frequently.
