This #Easter / #Passover I wanted to do something with my time, so I got a few items of the Internet and I am making my very own #MP3 player.
The resurgence of MP3 players, #iPods and such has gotten me to think, how cheap can one make an MP3 player? How functional can I make it? What parts can I use and how well will it work?Well, we'll soon see =)
I will be using a ESP32 based board, a round 1.28" non touch display and a microSD card in a slot to do this! -
Ohh hell yeah! I just took some #Ibuprofen just now =D
Do you remember debugging why a new drive didn't work in the computer and then realize you needed to set these suckers to a different setting?

Had an issue yesterday with an #Asterisk install not seeing a key I have for connections to another via #IAX
Debugged it for a few hours after work and gave up. Went to bed and dreamt a possible solution. Woke up, went back to work and tried said solution and that was it!I simply forgot to install openssl-dev and compile Asterisk --with-ssl ..

Does anyone else remember the time when those who could afford a #webcam and had #xDSL instead of the others who still had 56k dialup, had websites with a tiny image from their webcam that updated every minute or more?
One of those sites was #dansaa.com, I had no idea who this Chelsea was but watching her and her friends partying out in front of the camera was something so new and amazing I couldn't stop watching the "stream".

I have an idea for creating #JBOD boxes that stack on top of each other so you can fairly quickly add more storage to your #homelab
Each box would have its own small PSU to power it and what else is needed to connect to the main server. However, I am lacking in hardware knowledge.I was thinking about each box having a SATA/SAS card and the PSU in it, then connecting that via an optic connection, mini SAS or something similar to the main host. What hardware should I be looking for?
