I just tried #sway 1.10.1 on #Linux but still have the same bugs I had with 1.10: All my desktop backgrounds now black, whether I use a solid background or an image as a background.

I'm going to return to using #swayfx and hope that after SwayFX updates to be based on 1.10.1 that this bug doesn't come with it.

There are a still a number of open 1.10 regressions in the Sway bug tracker, so I'm not trying to isolate and report this as a new issue now.

i think that terminal is called foot. weird.
something about why this plasma and sway is. when sometimes it doesn't indicate a desktop environment, but only the window manager.

Not sure why it opened w/ the window like that, as it's a "tiling window manager", however, i am aware of the feature. I believe it's [SUPER]+P or some such. EDIT: **[SUPER]+[Space Bar]** and that facilitates use of the arrows to move the window on the screen to precise degrees.
not a utility/ option i personally benefit from or need, however #remarkable nevertheless

Using wluma with swaywm for automatic brightness control on my laptop. It works pretty great, although to be honest, scrolling through Mastodon and watching my brightness react in realtime to the images moving across my screen is pretty distracting though. It's far too reactive in my opinion. Still worth it, it has saved me from a lot of light mode flashbangs.
