I don’t think this was necessarily #Christian doctrine as much as a widely held belief in Christian communities that was sometimes emphasized if you asked “too many questions”. While a fair share of those who participated agree with me that eggnog is delicious (42%*), 1 in 4 participants have never even had eggnog! Both experiences impacted me positively and I find myself reflecting on the stories and imagery associated with both.
