well, i got up way too early thanks to a kid climbing into bed and found myself unable to sleep, so i built me a #Magic8Ball like page requiring no external stuffs. it has minimal javascript on it. it just works in the browser. also, the source for the page is under CC-BY-NC-SA 4.0: https://senchawizard.neocities.org/sycho #Clairvoyance

This week's #ThursDeath is debut LP 'Chasm of Immurement' by Warsaw''s CLAIRVOYANCE. Not sure how I missed this last year, as I loved their EP. This is some KILLER cavernous, churning, CRUSHING death doom with great dynamics and excellent faster/mid-tempo spots too.

Clairvoyance heisst Hellsichtigkeit – Von Christoph Roos
– http://rooschristoph.blogspot.com/

Clairvoyance – Chasm of Immurement Review
By Maddog
Yes, I picked this up entirely because of its cover. Girardi’s gorgeous spiral of tombstones and skeletons conjures vintage highbrow death metal of the likes of Death. The title Chasm of Immurement grasps at brutal badassery in the vein of Suffocation’s Effigy of the Forgotten. Clairvoyance’s logo remains indecipherable even if you know the band’s name, suggesting kvltness galore. The promo materials describe lyrics that address the isolating effects of depression, foreshadowing a harrowing listen. In isolation, each of these judgments strikes at the truth but glances off. Chasm of Immurement is the debut album from Poland’s Clairvoyance, an unknown band comprising unknown musicians. Lying at the intersection of brainless death-doom and brainiac digressions, Chasm of Immurement is a powerful foray into death metal.
A first pass through Chasm of Immurement suggests primitive death metal with a dollop of doom. “Eternal Blaze” opens the album with a bang that recalls Faceless Burial’s Speciation. After grabbing me by the anus, Clairvoyance maintains its hold by alternating between mid-range Obituary riffs and lurching Autopsy-style death-doom. These lowbrow highlights feel both as slimy and evolved as an amoeba. With both its riffs and its guitar tone, Chasm of Immurement leaves a palpable layer of grime that justifies multiple colonoscopies. “Blood Divine” emerges as a late gem through riffs that are gory enough to draw blood and enormous enough to evoke Immolation. This isn’t isolated to a subset of the tracks; throughout its runtime, Chasm of Immurement alternates between a sixteen-wheeler and a used minivan without dulling its fun.
On your fifth listen, Clairvoyance’s experimental bent comes into view. The same doomy riffs you’d heard before reveal spooky foreground melodies (“Reign of Silence”). The same track that you’d interpreted as a caveman ditty blossoms in baffling melodic directions in its second half (“Eternal Blaze”). The same song that introduced itself as by-the-books death metal culminates in a monstrous doomy climax (“Fleshmachine”). The same sections that you’d dismissed as repetitive transform into home bases for grimy excursions, interfering with your sleep schedule and your family obligations. Adorning hefty riffs with sinister melodies, Clairvoyance recalls both Lovecraft’s Azathoth and Morbid Angel’s Trey Azagthoth. It took me a while to realize that I was doing Chasm of Immurement an injustice by pigeonholing it into old-school death metal. It is indeed that, but it’s so much more.
Clairvoyance’s varying ambitions both empower and dilute each other. Spanning 34 minutes across 6 tracks, Chasm of Immurement is a concise collection of lengthy tracks. Some of its pieces wander, especially at their simplest. For instance, despite being the second shortest track, “Blood Divine” feels lengthy because of its dearth of creative ideas. Similarly, the shortest song, “Eternal Blaze,” suffers from riffwork that’s decent but unimaginative, before eventually redeeming itself with more variety. Even so, these flubs are rare. The six-minute “Hymn of the Befouled” is the starkest counterexample, balancing length with girth by combining a vicious off-kilter main riff with melodic escapades that hold me rapt. Parts of Chasm of Immurement could do a better job of remaining engaging, but it’s hardly a fatal flaw.
Balancing thoughtful death metal and anti-intellectual death-doom, Clairvoyance’s debut is as weird as it is powerful. Neanderthals who need their fix should look here, as Chasm of Immurement’s crushing death metal riffs rival the best of old-school death metal. Conversely, fans of Morbid Angel’s wonkiness or Tomb Mold’s shapeshifting shenanigans will find just as much to love here. Chasm of Immurement is unlikely to dethrone Faithxtractor’s Loathing and the Noose atop my 2025 death metal ranking, as its occasional meandering loses my interest. But it’s a promising debut from a crew of talented Polish fiends.

Bought a set of #woodland themed #OracleCards and a #book on #angels by Kyle Gray. Angels are fascinating. I kinda wish I could see them. Very tall, raditating love, reported by Gray and Rachel Keene. Have a read, or listen, they’re on YouTube etc.
A few months ago I opened up to #psychic awareness, I guess you could call it. Seem to be #ClairAudient and maybe cognisant. #ClairVoyance seemed to start too, like dreams, but weirder and too fast to understand, so I told them I’d rather not.

Tarot cards are like astrology: Fun, not factual. This woman believed her own BS about being “clairvoyant” (SPOILER ALERT: She’s not 🙄) and then stupidly accused a stranger of murder. She should absolutely have to pay for damages she caused, including wasting police resources on following a nonsense lead. #tarot #clairvoyance #scam #magicalthinking https://radaronline.com/p/tiktoker-sued-professor-university-of-idaho-murders-lawsuit-defamation-false-accusations-tarot-card-reading/

I frequently get asked if I’m psychic, can I see the future, and if I give readings. The answer is no. I’m big on science and empirical data, so I’ve conducted experiments where I used true randomness from Johnson–Nyquist noise to generate numbers corresponding to pixels or images. I’ll have a control group that I don’t attempt to predict, and an experimental group that I try to predict. I’ve even made beam splitters from laser pointers to generate randomness using the photoelectric effect.
When I tried to sense the future using randomly generated numbers and images, I got most of them right with a p-value less than 0.05. Does this mean I can sense the future? No, because when I compared the randomly generated numbers in the experimental group to the control group and checked to ensure they were approximately random, I discovered that the experimental group wasn’t random. Specifically, I was able to measure a dynamical orbit in the experimental group.
I describe the psychic influence of magical forces as a chaotic force. Therefore, I would say that magic drawing its power from the noetic sphere is a force of chaos. My empirical measurement and observation of how I affect truly random processes in ways that create dynamical orbits is a reason why. By creating dynamical orbits in random data, my psychic influence inserts chaos into the system. Chaos in dynamical systems is characterized by a non-linear rate of change. Chaotic systems are deterministic because their behavior is entirely determined by initial conditions. This distinguishes them from stochastic systems, which involve inherent randomness or disorder in their behavior.
In shifting the future, I am breaking the symmetry of unitary properties of the system to create topological defects. This affects the ionization energy of particles. In the context of muons and ionization energy, this could cause an interaction with an atomic nucleus in a way that leads to a transition with a change in flavor. It creates a break in the evolution of the system and then restructures that gap with information that is inserted into the system such that the past and the future are shifted. Psychic influence creates a teleological influence where the only future that is possible is the one it has created thereby making it deterministic and chaotic via a dynamical orbit and attractor.
I did these experiments multiple times and had my husband do this as well. He was able to predict the future random images, while both the control and experimental data remained random. Whereas with me, there was always a dynamical orbit, even though I got most of it right with a p-value less than 0.05.
This means I can’t predict the future psychically, because I influence future probabilities to conform to what I expect it to be. It appears like I am predicting the future, but I am actually changing it. So, if I tried to give someone a reading, I would be prescribing and not predicting their future. My biases would shift the cards. I’m pessimistic and cynical, so I would negatively affect the future, so I avoid trying to look into it.
I’ve done a similar exercise with a random walk. I had a person take 1 step at 90, 180, 360, or 270 degrees in a room based on randomly generated numbers. When I tried to predict where they would be at the end of the exercise, I was right, but the numbers exhibited redundancy, a pattern, and a signature, and the Geiger counter registered weird stuff, as did the cloud chamber we created to visualize it. Here is a Youtube video on how to make a cloud chamber:
I bias the future when I try to see it. My husband can see the future. I can’t.
This means that in trying to sense the future, I influence the ionization energy of muons, alpha radiation, and cosmic rays to force the future into a state I expect it to be. I’m influencing the probability distribution of electrons to influence ionization energy. I influence the probability of the electrons being close or far from the nucleus, which affects ionization energy. I can’t see the future, but I can control radiation when I try. So, no, I can’t give readings but I can deflect radioactive particles.
Here is the interesting philosophical question: Am I changing the future or am I creating a new reality? As I stated, the process is chaotic, and chaotic systems are deterministic. Most people incorrectly believe that the ability to see the future, change the future, or influence the future and the past proves that histories are mutable and not deterministic. That is not necessarily the case.
In many high-level programming languages, there are mutable and immutable data types. This text would be a string data type. In Python, for example, you cannot change a string. Here is an example:
x = “This is an example.”
x = “This is an example where I changed something.”We intuitively think that we changed x. We did not. They are not the same object. They are two different objects. What we did was create a new instance of a string with the changes that we wanted, and we pointed x to that new object so that x now references that new object. We have two different string objects where we have created a new string. A new string had to be created because the original string is immutable.
Different histories are different realities. If the future is similarly immutable and deterministic, then my husband’s ability to see the future and my ability to influence the future both either create new futures and new realities or it changes vectors, tensors, and scalars such that there is a translation to a different existing reality. A translation to a different reality would be like me teleporting everything to a different reality. Am I simply changing the future and restructuring things on a subatomic level, or am I creating entirely new bubbles of realities? The problem with multiverse stuff and cosmological discussions about determinism and whether all moments in time all exist at the same time is that they are largely unfalsifiable. So, I am skeptical of the idea that I am creating new realities, but it is plausible.

"How was Bebe supposed to know we weren't invited?" Bebe pouted.
"How was I supposed to know you'd run off & invite everyone? #Clairvoyance?"
"But you can't go without Bebe!"
"Or me," said Zaza, said putting her hands on her hips.
"But… You don't know…"
"We're going," Zaza said grimly. "And that's final."
"But we don't have an AI IFF like Racy does."
"You don't need one," a voice announced. "I can do it for both."
"You were listening in?"
"You didn't think I wouldn't keep tabs on you?"
