Hello folks. I want to discuss something, or more, share another part of myself that I've been hiding for such a long time because quite honestly, I have feared judgement. To know that people could automatically see me as a bad human being because I share this part of myself has been keeping me from doing it, but then I realized, and its because of the community around this thing that I'm about to share why I am feeling comfortable telling people this, but here it goes.
Since I was 14 years old, I have been practicing #Reiki, for those who do not know, Reiki is a Japanese healing art focussing on energy control and using the hands to help people heal themselves. For years, nobody but a select few knew I even did this, and yet, it is something that I can no longer keep to myself. There have been too many experiences to convince me that what I am doing is right and is good for the people around me. From the one time I used what I learned to help my dad when he was dealing with an old injury that no longer exists, from the many times I helpped my grandmother when she needed it because she was dealing with many issues, I, along with the power of God and Reiki itself, have worked to help people when asked for, something I still do today. This has extended my true belief in the magical arts and #Magic itself. I personally believe that magic is a real thing, as real as anything around us right now, and that it can be used for true good for myself, for other people and for society as a whole. This is something that I am 100% serious about because I've seen it work several times, and have worked to learn more, using the power of love for all human beings and living creatures to enhance my healing abilities. Magic isn't about doing spells that hurt people or doing strange tricks to impress your friends, its about having power, knowing that you have power of some sort, and using it responsibly in an a healthy and productive manner.
I don't expect to be believed, in fact, I fully expect to be burnned at the stake for even admiting this, yet I stand by my choice and will never leave it, because its a core part of who I am as a person. I will never admit to performing miracles like healing sight or whatever because I truly believe that this isn't possible unless God wants it to be possible, but for what I have managed to do, it has helpped others. I'm ready for the backlash. I'm ready to me called a heretic, and I know what this means, yet, i also know that hiding it doesn't help me, it doesn't help other people, and it just leads to more pain overtime because I am suppressing something that is a much a part of me as my own blindness. If you accept me for my truth, thank you, this means everything to me, and if you do not, fine, I will take it, but I refuse to change, and that's final.
