They want to enrage you so the world you live by is framed by them.There was a faux #ZuckerMatrix website that said something like "connecting you with the things that enrage you", which was very lol-worthy.

And as William Stanley Jevons noted, if you make something cheaper, you induce a demand for more of that thing.
Software complexity is a constraint budget. And so long as we're making complexity cheaper, that budget is relaxed, and the amount of complexity increases. Up to the point that it's no longer tractable, at which point a new equilibrium point is reached.
Or, in the alternative, if you follow the logic of Joseph Tainter, until the capacity to sustain that complexity itself degrades or is perturbed beyond its capacity to recovery, and the whole house of cards collapses.

Try doing that, privately.We know people don't like to hear this but if a project is exclusively on Github (or CloudFlare GitLab) then its not ethical.
Thankfully, Gargron is fairly easily contactable from outside Github. Thankfully many BTC devs are easily contactable, this is **not** the case for all projects — and big ones.
Some have really created a #unwelcoming and we argue unethical #walledGarden on those platforms.

I often even give a deposit in cash at hotels. If venues don't accept cash I go to other places. Is it tax evasion?

Understand your position but when govts do ill in terms of things like energy policy, they'll face increasing trade sanctions.In the case of bitcoin its actually fairly good when you contextualise, but yes, it needs that liquidLayer determined, we hope it wont be based on #ProofOfBrainActivity as MS patented. If that were the case then currency would be re-centralised, with many more ppl becoming addicted and not living outside the constructed digital realm.

Some may keep tabs for curiosity.We see things as a rollercoaster ride, or like dancing in a puddle, the more ppl dancing in the puddle the more fun it will be and the more droplets everyone will be kicking up over each other and the higher the puddle to dance in.

As you alluded to earlier though, votes might not work without authentication. You just end up with #sybilAttacks/ sock instances, and what for. To project some unpopular standard.The way it is now is a democratic #VoteByAdoption. Vote by running an instance that adheres to the standard you choose.

There's been some documentation of how foundations and roundtables go with federated systems. In 2014, a bunch of bitcoins devs and investors got together to hash out stuff and that apparently didn't get much done. At the end of the day the people/users/nodes decided.Users on Fedi are semi-anonymous so polls and voting won't work and only encourage #CAGFAM to use their… socks.
If we make bad decisions, we'll know when discourse quality deteriorates.
