The word #disability itself is a limiting term, as it refers to an immense spectrum of experiences. #Disabilities can affect a person’s auditory, cognitive, neurological, linguistic, visual, emotional or physical abilities moving through the world, both online & offline.

Not only does #Conservative #Right hate a #young #diverse #America, they hate their OWN #constituents.

Many #Red states continue to be #poor, #uneducated, #sparse land masses unable to lift their #citizens out of #ignorance & #poverty, #unwilling to attract #businesses & #educators because they have a #perverse #incentive to keeping their states #unattractive and #unwelcoming. That's the only way they can keep their hold on #power, not by letting #smart people in

It's funny. When you say a #UnitarianUniversalist church is not welcoming, UUs think you don't know how to introduce yourself to others and make friends.

I grew up in churches where members came up and introduced themselves to make friends *with the new folks.* For weeks on end because they know it takes time to get to know a church full of people. And because they want to get to know anyone who is new.

If this kind of welcome isn't a part of your church's culture, your church is #unwelcoming.

Try doing that, privately.

We know people don't like to hear this but if a project is exclusively on Github (or CloudFlare GitLab) then its not ethical.

Thankfully, Gargron is fairly easily contactable from outside Github. Thankfully many BTC devs are easily contactable, this is **not** the case for all projects — and big ones.

Some have really created a #unwelcoming and we argue unethical #walledGarden on those platforms.
