  1. ‘Folder Color’ Tool Add Support for Ubuntu 22.10

    You’re probably already familiar with Folder Color, a terrifically nifty tool that makes it easy to change the colour of folder icons in Nautilus. Well, I’ve some good news: it recently added support for Ubuntu 22.10 and GNOME 43. This means you can continue to change the colour of any folder in Nautilus, as well as badge folders with a selection of emblems. If you’ve used the tool in earlier versions of Ubuntu and Nautilus nothing has changed: right-click on any folder in the file manager and page into the ‘folder color’ menu, and pick a hue from the list :sys_more_orange:

  3. on from using a simple presentation made by my daughter before going to work... utterly impossible... only solution was to make screenshots and combine using on an and printing directly from usb stick ... suggestion from my wife ... if anyone wants to rant about & being feel free to join in... I feel so much better. Ta.😜

  4. Ubuntu 22.10 is Now Available to Download

    It’s live — Ubuntu 22.10 “Kinetic Kudu” is available to download. Ubuntu 22.10 comes with a number of improvements to the user experience, a new sound server, new text editor app, and Linux kernel 5.19. It also boasts better-than-ever support for the Raspberry Pi single board computer. As a short-term support release this version of Ubuntu comes with 9 months of app updates and support. It’s not long, but it take us well past the release of its successor, Ubuntu 23.04 which is due in April of next year. If you stay on top of your Ubuntu news you should :sys_more_orange:
