  9. Back in 2016/2017 when I was starting the whole running thing I really wanted to be faster and go longer and longer distances. Now I just want to be able to go out for a run 3-4 times a week and just stay injury free.

    I did sign up for a half in October so I can have some sort of goal, but finishing it will be the main win, not looking for a specific pace or time. #running #runninggoals

    Goal for the year was 100km each month. I managed this until surgery so I have 927km on my account for this year so far. I am fine with that and happy if I can collect some more km during the next two weeks but focus is lying on recovering, not distance or pace. 😊 Just the fact that I am back at running feels amazing at the moment.

  21. Today was the first anniversary of running my first 10k, I’d been running for about 8 months, my brother came to stay and was determined to get me from my current 8k up to 10, and we did it. I did quite a few 10’s with running partners after that but it wasn’t until the day of the London marathon last October that I plucked up the nerve to go and run it on my own. I only ran 6k today, but I’m enjoying reflecting on what I’ve achieved since I started running. #RunningGoals
