  10. what a day to go running 😬 set off nice and steady for my scheduled 90 minutes keeping it nice and slow then after 15 minutes the damn chest strap starts spiking to over 190bpm 😖carried on a little bit longer to see if it sorted itself out but no luck so had to abandon that one. It’s a good thing I always bring along my arm monitor just in case things like that happen. So off I went again and this time no problems. Kept the pace slower today because of the weather #running #longrun #easyrun

  13. Tonight’s easy recovery run was more of a struggle than it was on the same route as last week, pace about 20 seconds slower per km and heart rate up about 5 beats on average. Made sure I wasn’t going to let heart rule head so deliberately wore my Nike Invincibles to keep my pace down so in turn heart rate wouldn’t start climbing.
