I just realized my #RaspberryPi2 and #RaspberryPi3B are 10 and 7 years old.
No wonder they were struggling haha. Time to find new uses for them. Thinking one will continue as #Kodi box just for the #RV I just want to find an elegant way to add it to the #TV. For the other I've tried it as a #HomeAssistant server but, I am thinking it is time to try and set up a #NAS. Wish me luck! -

@blhue Had a recent experience where I ordered a #RaspberryPI3 from Amaxon and was sent an open box with a legacy #RaspberryPi2 inside. Guess someone got a FREE upgrade at #Amazon and my #TIME expense to return it back again.

- Una #RaspberryPi4 aguanta una instància #Mastodon o #Pixelfed tranquilament. Cal ajudar-la amb un disc SSD i el media a un CDN, però tira bé.
- Tenir el reverse proxy externalitzat també ajuda a relaxar la instància, però simplement mous el problema a un altre host.
- Tenir el reverse proxy en una vella #RaspberryPi2 dirigint el tràfic de 3 instàncies no és bona idea. No només pels 32bits, la ethernet és de 100Mbit/s i es satura. -

Je suis parti d'un base de Robby RP5 dont j'ai viré toute l'élec. J'avais déjà monté un truc avec des meccano dessus et un #raspberrypi2, mais c'était un peu brinquebalant, et le Rpi était alimenté par un chargeur USB encombrant.

That was one hell of a mission! Finally migrated from my old #RaspberryPi2 to a Shuttle as my #Yunohost #Server. It was far more difficult than I anticipated, what with the completely different architectures (#armf to x86_64).
This oversight by some of the contributed "High Quality" apps, seems to be one that has been overlooked.
Migrating should be quite a simple task:
1. create backup
2. copy backup to destination
3. restore backup
For apps that are arch agnostic, this isn't a #problem (like #WordPress). But for those apps that are installed with #compiled #binaries that run as system services, this is a potential weakness that might need to be addressed.
No-one wants to install an application on a small #SBC only to find out later that they cant migrate to a more powerful machine should the need arise.
This issue isn't addressed in the #Wiki, Bug Reports, Readmes, #FAQ or relevant documentation. Perhaps it might be something worth looking at? -

For the big LED panel project I finally found the time to cut the strip into 45 parts. Each 5 LEDs long. Also removed the adhesive pads of them, because it does not stick to 3D printed parts well. Going to use hot glue for this.
