Finally found some time to bring my #NeoPixel Heart PCBs into a usable state and add some documentation. The #sourcecode is hosted on @Codeberg at https://codeberg.org/rommudoh/NoisyMcHeart and works for both variants (big and small).
I think I'll publish the #KiCad files soon, too.

Here are the boards! I soldered a first one by hand, but the #WS2812B #LEDs are very close to each other. So some have burn marks. Hot air is no option, it would burn them up. So, I bought a hot plate and tried again. It's so much faster and easier! And it worked directly after #soldering.
I only need better solder paste, this one was difficult to clean.

John “Chucky” Hertell ha publicado la primera y segunda parte de una guía técnica para construir un Amiga 4000T desde cero, con enfoque totalmente práctico y avisando que no dará soporte a quienes se desvíen del montaje indicado.
La primera parte recomienda empezar por las daughterboards: placa de conectores y Drive I/O (terminación SCSI, disquetera, lógica 74LS) y la placa de Audio/Video (chips de señal como el CXA1263AM y jumpers para audio de CD). Se destaca un punto crítico: los conectores DSUB requieren modificar sus laterales para encajar. También se detalla el cableado, con dos ribbon cables de 40 pines de longitudes exactas: 20 cm (SHORT) y 25 cm (LONG), conectados según etiquetas para evitar daños en chips como Paula o las CIAs.
La segunda parte entra en la motherboard, donde la alimentación con fuente AT exige seguir la regla de “cable negro al centro” para no quemar la placa. Hertell remarca la soldadura de zócalos PLCC como principal fuente de fallos y propone avances por hitos: comprobar sincronismo tras montar chips como LISA/ALICE/FAT GARY, ajustar el jumper del reloj CPU (INT/EXT según CPU/aceleradora) y usar DiagROM para pruebas iniciales. Finalmente se cubren memoria (hasta 16 MB de Fastmem en placa), recomendaciones de terminación SCSI y detalles de Kickstart 40.70.

I designed a #SMD adapter board using @kicad and let @aislerhq manufacture them. They are for #SOT23 on one side and #SOT363 on the other side. They bridge the gap of a #solderless #breadboard, so they are perfect for #prototyping circuits or trying out new components - or as replacement for through-hole parts. I soldered a dual diode #BAV70 on one and a dual NPN/PNP transistor #BC847BPN on a second one to try them out. I'm satisfied how they look, although the white area for labeling is a bit small - I need a thinner pen for that.

Can some explain to me how i tune square wave oscillators to certain frequencies? I’m using the most basic 40106 oscillators and I know it’s the relation between the capacitor and resistors that determines the frequency, but does anyone have nice chart or something?
I could of course plug it to a guitar tuner or look at it on oscilloscope, but I have neither…
