  4. Testing a tiny Tor gateway I built on a €30 SBC + Armbian CLI.

    Boots in 2s, no telemetry, no web UI, separate subnet. Browsers, CLI and Termux all route through Tor with no IP/DNS leaks 😎

    Ping doesn’t work (good: Tor blocks ICMP). So far… it just works 🤷🏻‍♂️ speed is ok (sometimes 🤣).

  11. I remember someone here asked me if Waveshare UPS HAT (E) is any good - i believe they are and I have two.

    We expect a rough winter here in Ukraine in terms of electricity, so I vibecoded a fork of the official Waveshare code for this UPS that not only shows a tray icon and allows for a safe shutdown, but also sends free #alertzy notifications to your phone whenever power is lost and restored.

  13. Keep on experimenting with different built-in examples in #Arduino App Lab and my Arduino Uno Q.

    Surprisingly all of them work and work well. @arduino surely did their homework.

    Two things I've found:
    1) built-in eMMC has 250 MB/sec read speed. Wow. In comparison #RaspberryPi CM4 or Pi4/Pi5 via microSD offer like 80 MB/sec.

    4) Uno Q squeaks. It produces quite unpleasant high pitch noise that I hope some case or motorized camera will mask sooner rather than later 🤣

  23. Got me some new #Arduino stuff. Hope it’ll be a fun journey as it usually is with their stuff.

    Heard different opinions and rumors about Arduino Uno Q - will have a chance to make my own now 😃.

    Also got one more Arduino Nano Matter board - third for me - and a screw terminal for it.

    And a sweatshirt of a proper size - I already own it be just like that, but in this particular case their XL is too long and wide even for me 🤣
