Butterfly OA/Kirigami Pop Up Card
This pop up butterfly with Celtic spirals cut from pearlescent white stock with a cobalt blue backing was my 2024 holiday card.

Welcome to the Enchanted Forest!
This holiday card is my take on a popular origamic architecture/kirigami concept. These are laser scored and cut, then hand folded from the Ice Gold stock I have been using.

🎲 ¿Juegas a rol?

This Lunar New Year marks the start of the Year of the Wood Dragon. I made a video walk-through of making my origamic architecture / kirigami dragon pop up card to celebrate.

A dragon may seem a strange choice for a holiday card but, I had the design in my head and, it really wanted out. Oh, and January 28th begins the Year of the Wood Dragon in the Lunar calendar. The wood underwent some processing, first to become paper, then to become a dragon.

#popuptober2023 n° 13, "Bark".

Prototype of a pop up card featuring rotational motion. I'm feeling really happy with progress, next steps are to refine details and then start on 'finished art'. Planning to make a DIY kit as a final outcome for the project.
