I wrote an essay on #SaintPatrick for #PaddysDay - about how Saint patrick represents a Cosmic-tier Celtic Deity, Lugaid.
Crazy as it sounds, there's a lot of connective material to support an identification between Patrick and Lugaid, and between Lugaid and the wider Proto-Indo-European god-type that's otherwise best represented by the Hindu "Purusha".
