For those who don't know much about washi tape/adhesive paper: the white part goes down onto paper almost invisibly, but can usually be peeled off and readjusted a few times. So it's great for indecisive/imprecise people like myself. But in this case, it's extra good because it provides an extra layer for ink to sit on, preventing ghosting or bleedthrough.

After spending weeks looking at distressed style washi tape/stickers and knowing/accepting I was over budget for the month, I finally made some of my own with stamps, ink pads and adhesive washi paper. They turned out pretty good! The only mistake was using an oil ink pad for the black - it looks great, but doesn't seem to dry properly, even with blotting. I'll use chalk ink pads next time.

3 new Kaweco Sports coming out this summer, 1 in the Kaweco Collection series, & 2 additions to the new Lunar series.
The Light Blue I'm kinda so-so on, but Shadow Blue and Marble Ocean look great. Lunar Sports are available in all Sport types, Marble Ocean is fountain pen only.

I’ve been thinking about typewriter stationery and carbon copies lately, as has our friend Joe Van Cleave. Has anyone used or had NCR paper stationery made for themselves?I tried some half-sheet stationery at the International Printing Museum not long ago and that seemed like a lovely way to write and keep copies of typewritten correspondence.
Of course recommendations for designers and printers for personal stationery is welcome here too.

Picked up a set of three bullet pencils.
No idea how old these are (sometime before Farmland Industries co-op ended). The wrap does not seem terribly sturdy, so I suspect they sat in a drawer. Only one pencil tip had been used.
Some rust on one of the bullet tips and had to gently shape one tube back into shape where its clip had broken off. The exposed erasers had dried but reversing them revealed soft if coarse rubber still capable of erasing.

Cult Pens did another one of their £100 blind boxes last week, and for once I happened to catch it just as it was made available and actually had some spare cash for once, so I went for it. Would anyone be interested in a full blog post review of everything included in it?
It contained a fountain pen (the big ticket item), ink (not pictured), ballpoint pens, erasable gel pens, fineliners, brushpens, and a notebook. No converter though, annoyingly.
