I usually use the uniball Jetstream 3 in 1 but I tried the uniball one (uniball one P) today and it's good. Like damn. So smooth.

I am used to a bit of feedback since I use a fine tio size but this was just smooth AF.

I think I would want a uniball one F or the original uniball one though. I will enjoy it though, it's very cute. :blobfoxwoah:

Got curious why pencils are hexagonal. Round ones roll straight off a sloped drafting table — so sometime in the 1850s pencil makers cut hex sides into them. Carpenters solved the same problem earlier by making their pencils oval, so they wouldn't roll off a roof either. #history #design #stationery

お久しぶりです！以前、問題の見つかった材料を新しいものに替えて、新しいアプローチでデザインを見直しました。いかがでしょうか？大きさはA6、厚さ16mmで384ページあります。
背の補強材からしおり紐がチラッとのぞく仕様です。天小口（上側の断面）はペーパーナイフで切った状態で、小口と地小口（側面と下側の断面）は化粧裁ちをせず不揃いなまま紙の端を残して手仕事の味わいを残しています。
これから自分で使ってみて、耐久テストです！

sharing a "life hack" I adopted to encourage me to journal and doodle more

I got a standing pencil case, which is meant to stay upright when you have it open with the pens displayed vertically, that is also large enough to fit one or two small notebooks. I can leave it open on my desk with the cute highlighters and the notebook all in one neat display within hand's grasp and it encourages me to interact with it more. And it's all one piece that I can easily grab and take to the living room or put in my bag.

The case being a pleasant color I like to look at also encourages me to keep it in view. This exact model is a "RosyPosy" that I found scrounging around on Ali Express, but Kokuyo sells an extremely similar one that you may have an easier time finding. A6 notebooks fit easily, an A5 will barely fit as long as it doesn't have a bulky cover. You can also look at cases labeled as being for make-up/cosmetics, some of those are also stand-up.

One thing I forgot to include! I buy a Midori MD A6 Diary every year to document household purchases. There are more than enough pages, so I always end up with extra to rip out at the end for other means. (Maybe this year I'll make those scraps into a tiny book.)

The final Hobonichi 2027 lineup is out and I don't think I'm buying any new covers. If Atlas Stationer's preview is right, they're reissuing a lot of stock from 2026, so maybe I'll pick up a Black/Blue Colors A5 cover (to use with a very nice cover-on-cover I bought for a steal on eBay), but otherwise it will just be basic journals/index tabs/some Moomin stickers as purchases this year.

I bet the fountain pen inks are going to sell out immediately considering how intense fountain pen people are.
