Some images of #PocketCollection running on an unmodded #Nintendo #GameBoy. You know, I like modded screens but it’s the look on an original DMG that really gives me the chills. It reminds me more than anything else of the lil’ wonder Chris Maltby worked when he created #GBStudio to let people like me bring their ideas to a piece of 36 years old hardware. 🖤

@Prozak You're absolutely right—running 20B+ models locally can be quite costly. From a purely economic standpoint, your setup with LiteLLM + Ollama + cloud for heavy lifting makes the most sense for most people.
However, I still find myself drawn to the idea of experimenting with a local setup, even if it's not the most cost-effective choice. There's a certain appeal to tinkering with hardware and having full control over the system. It's not just about efficiency; it's about learning, autonomy, and the satisfaction of building something with your own hands. It's akin to building a custom PC just for the enjoyment of the process—sometimes, the journey itself is the reward!

I think I'm finally starting to get my head around shoehorning #FallOfDeltaGreen into #FoundryVTT's #GUMSHOE system module.
It won't be a full implementation by any stretch—that's well beyond my current abilities—but it should handle player-facing stuff nicely, with descriptive text from the rulebook so ability info (forex) is at the players' fingertips. Plus, I can drag-and-drop qualitative traits onto the sheet rather than type them up for each PC.

Almost 900,000 workers in #Australia hold more than one job. That's not hoards of people pursuing passion projects on the side. Rather that's how people cope with the rising costs of living. In relative terms, one in 14 workers now works multiple jobs. For a rich country that is quite frankly not acceptable.
