Saw this on my AM gocomics.com run today, and it hits home. I have been staining my shirts for so long, my sister used to call me "Pig Pen" when we were growing up.
Now, when a T-shirt has the usual stain on it (grease, oil, food etc), I just tell people that's my logo.
(Fun fact: The gigantic quilt my sister just made me from all my old aviation t-shirts still has, um, my "logo" on several of the shirts.)

Nah. Block that shit. Nobody needs to be exposed to it.
Aside: My kid grew up on Rowling, and was a deep fan, knowing all the strange trivia. We shared a lot of good times centred on those works across books and film.
She continues to struggle with the tension between something that meant so much to her and kids like her that felt like outcasts and the clear interpretation of Rowling’s anti trans behaviour that suggests she thought Potter was an antihero and the Ministry of Magic the righteous ones.
I think much of the same tension exists for people who read Lovecraft and Gaiman, or watched Whedon’s shows, or listened to Kanye’s music before the mask was lifted. Do we take down Picasso from galleries because he was an absolute trash person?
I can’t and won’t support those artists any more. But I struggle to condemn anyone who came to understand themselves in the context of that art before the artists were exposed.
I can’t change anyone. They need to take their own journey. And they need empathy not scolding in order to take it.
tl;dr of all that: block and ban hateful people and their art, but be kind and empathetic in helping others understand what harm those works can do.
