My default reference for all things Robin Hood is usually Robin of Sherwood (it's as 'historically accurate' as any other version :-) ). This will make an interesting contrast.

Beyond yeeting supernumerary people into space it also removes long term thinking, which would have a lot of financial motivation.
So, the probability of falsification is non zero and skepticism would be advised whether NASA or any other agency.
