Was planning a long ride today until waking up to a day of rain. Well, I should try to ride a variety of conditions, so off I went with a bit warmer clothing. What I didn't account for was so much wet gravel. Didn't see any other bikers, just a couple walkers, and four runners.

to get this photo I had to stand at an odd angle, carefully lift several raspberry canes, and then hold my phone upside down with arm outstretched.

Spotted a pair of mating hummingbirds today, but failed to catch them on camera. #Fungi and #flowers were slower-moving, so y'all get those instead.

Anyone know what these are? They cropped up overnight and look like styrofoam. The cap of the largest is about 3cm tall by 2.5cm across. I wasn't able to get a picture of or see the underside of the cap.
