Cross your fingers with me!
Hoping to actually produce some Mexican truffles!I inoculated Painted Mountain corn, and Tuscarora White corn.
The raccoons absolutely decimated the peaches and cream, and I don't seem to have any nubs yet on either the Stained Glass corn or the red Aztec corn.
Now I need to cover the ones I inoculated so that they don't end up also being pollinated. Pollination apparently kills the fungus or something. 😞

Yesterday’s first day of bike packing trip went well, 36 miles and 2,200ft (58km, 670m). First thing in campground was a cute mushroom.
Night of rain with scattered rain throughout the day, but hoping to reach next spot before bigger storm.
