Some time back, a hobby site had an old phone (Rotary Ba-be) like that with a Cellular module in it in the Motorola Razor days. Damn thing was $550USD and IceMelt and I wanted to split the cost (Razr being half that) so we could play a joke in meetings.

*Reaches into laptop bag, pulls out big assed AT&T Rotary*... "Sorry dudes, I gotta take this." and walk out the door with *that*.

While I was in the lab, a visiting researcher was telling an amusing personal story to several of my employees. I wasn’t really listening, but it was convoluted and had something to do with DandD. The she got to the punchline and shouted“Leedsichthys!”

Ich hab' gerade die abgefahrenste "Erklärung" dafür bekommen, warum man Elektroautos zwar mit leeren Akku bergab rekuperierend aufladen kann, jedoch nicht einfach so abschleppen darf:
Abschleppen ist eine echte Kraft, die auf das Auto wirkt - verboten! Die beim bergab Rollen wirkende Schwerkraft ist jedoch eine Scheinkraft, Stichwort Krümmung der #Raumzeit durch Masse usw., und deswegen für das #Elektroauto ungefährlich (so lange nichts im Weg steht).
