Made my first mix CD in about four years recently. My car is just old enough (2006 model year, but assembled in 2005) that they hadn't installed either an MP3 decoder nor an aux port in it to use phones or other devices to play music from. I do have an FM transmitter I can use, if needed.
First song I put on this new CD was @[email protected] 's demo of "Kirra", which I really like -- even in it's rawest form. Will be interesting to see how it gets arranged in the future. #music #mixCD -

Oh heck yeah! I used to make a lot of mix CDs for friends, and this was a series for one particular friend. Fortunately, I’d make a copy for myself as well, and I just found a cache of them going through an old CD wallet.
I had a pretty workflow for getting a track listing out of iTunes and into Illustrator to make the disc art. That woulda been on a G4 TiBook, or later a Dual G4 MDD.

#np Stacey Pullen - DJ Kicks (!K7, 1996). Still sounds amazing after all these years. I have to forget this one from time to time because I played it so many times in 1996.
