Ich habe bei mir nun eine #Dashcam im Auto eingebaut, für vorne und hinten. Ich hätte noch eine dritte Kamera, die normal den Innenraum filmt. Nun bin ich am überlegen, ob ich diese einfach auch nach vorne links oder komplett nach links ausrichte und so montiere.
So hätte ich mehr Bilder, mit denen ich dann zu #OpenStreetMap beitragen könnte.

Our Road Surface Dataset has already been downloaded more than 4,000 times from #HDX!
The dataset provides global information about whether roads are paved or unpaved, thanks to #OpenStreetMap & #Mapillary data and deep-learning predictions: https://data.humdata.org/organization/heidelberg-institute-for-geoinformation-technology
According to a user survey, it has already been used in a variety of settings, from disaster response and humanitarian aid allocation to water management, environmental conservation and deforestation, and transport network planning.

After last week's #wemap webinar, the #OpenStreetMap contributors in #Mandaue in the #Cebu region are now collecting #Mapillary street-level imagery, with the goal of documenting and working on to improve the open map data for biking infrastructure in the city.
With fresh imagery, they are taking advantage of computer vision to detect objects: traffic signs, bike racks, speed limits, etc.
Watch this space for announcements for local #biking, #activeMobility #greenTransport webinars.

Done with another round of #MapaTime socialization with university froshies, that introduced them to basics of improving #OpenStreetMap. From #Mapillary verification, #Pic4Review validation, and OSM integration through #MapRoulette. They also learned how to use iD and #RapiD for various mapping efforts of the community in the #Philippines.
