My first IT job was being a "volunteen" at my hometown library, where I helped patrons use the public computers. One day, our internet connection dropped, and I went around apologizing and asking people to come back later.
Two girls around my age kept trying to visit MySpace, the first and only social media platform at the time. When I said "Sorry, our internet connection is down", they gasped, and said "Even MySpace?" 😂
