Наконец-то, Нашёл на #GitHub костыль для Yandex SpeechKit на #Firefox и прочие Chromium.

Это позволяет смотреть видео на #YouTube с русской нейро-озвучкой БЕЗ запуска оригинального #Yandex-браузера и БЕЗ входа в учётку Яндекса.
Правда, есть ограничения: длительность видео для перевода не должна превышать 4 часа - из-за этого ограничения я, например, не смог включить озвучку на лонгплее #HalfLife Alyx от Bolloxed, он у него как раз 5 часов.
Ну, и да: эта нейронка галлюционирует, как и большинство нейронок в реальном времени... Она может перевести даже звуковые эффекты. Например, при выстрелах из дробовика / помпового ружья она может начать произносить слово "жара, жара, жара" (что, в принципе, не далеко от происходящего, хаха!!!) или вообще начать криповать: при абсолютной тишине или под драматическую музыку в текстовой кат-сцене начать произносить что-то навроде "это прекрасная идея: отправиться за город вместе с семьёй и друзьями на выходные" 😄😁😆😅🤣😂
В общем, для лонгплеев, в принципе, достаточно годная вещь. Ждём нейро-перевод текстов в самом видео!!!

@freddy Yes, I didn't immediately want to use this as (yet another) opportunity to also mention #Firefox and #Brave as privacy-advantageous browsers on phones (I feel I have been doing that a lot, lately... 😄).
Browsers adapt, and Android has introduced the local network permission, so the immediate threat discussed in this well-written paper has been (mostly) fixed.
But the main issue remains that these companies maliciously worked around previous limitations that tried to prevent exactly this kind of abusive tracking. Given the ample evidence to date, #Facebook and #Yandex will undoubtedly try some other malware approach in the future. Best to get rid of them from your phones...

But the main issue remains that these companies maliciously worked around previous limitations that tried to prevent exactly this kind of abusive tracking. TL;DR summary: You might want to uninstall (or deactivate if pre-loaded) all #Facebook and #Yandex apps from your phone. That kind of behavior is pretty clearly malicious - not even just ethically wrong, but seems actually illegal (at least in the EU, though IANAL).
