ENDING FAT INSTABILITY

For the first time in a long, long life, I feel stable.

It is boring sometimes.

There is less drama, less urgency, less emotional weather pretending to be meaning.

But in a million years, I would not go back.

I would not go back to the fat instability of mind and body.

Six years of fasting have made the body lighter.

A year and a half of breathwork has made the mind quiet.

Routine has made the days trustworthy.

There is coffee in hand, a warm fire, Pete nearby, the dogs moving through the morning, and a body that no longer feels like an emergency waiting to happen.

None of this is glamorous.

It is simply a life that no longer needs to keep exploding into illness, falls, and confusion to prove that I am alive.

Sometimes peace is boring.

Good.

Boring is underrated.

Connu pour organiser des visites de parlementaires en Israël, le lobby Elnet se trouve derrière un meeting du collectif « Agir ensemble », avec le soutien de Bruno Retailleau et Manuel Valls.

« Combattre l’islamisme, tel un dôme de fer », est-il inscrit sur le site du collectif « Agir ensemble ». Une référence explicite au système de défense aérienne mobile israélien conçu pour arrêter les attaques de roquettes lancées depuis la bande de Gaza et le Liban. Le meeting du collectif se tient d’ailleurs au Dôme… de Paris, Porte de Versailles.

Au lancement d’« Agir ensemble » le 18 décembre 2023, le président d’Elnet-France, Arié Bensemhoun, était bien présent devant un parterre d’invité·es dont la polémiste Rachel Khan, Michel Onfray ou encore l’écrivain Mohamed Sifaoui, grand ami de Manuel Valls.

In her speech, Goldin criticized Germany for conflating anti-Zionism with antisemitism, stating that the government is using this false equivalency to suppress dissent.

Ya, this doesn't seem to be a thing in my experience.

I've met and talked with tons of #Americans. I don't think I've ever heard one express #animosity to Canada. #Confusion, yes. Mistaken #assumptions, yes. #Cliches and #stereotypes, yes. All the #ignorant #naivete you ever heard: we live in #igloos, we just got #electricity last year, all pets must by law be named #Pierre.

And lots that know #nothing about #Canada, including where it is.

But no #hatred.
