In the Course’s story, there is the tiny mad idea of separation, and instead of recognising it as meaningless, the mind takes it seriously. From there come guilt, fear, projection, and, eventually, a world outside ourselves that seems to explain why we feel frightened and divided.

Then the confusion becomes convincing.

The body says, “I am here.” The eyes say, “There is a world out there.” Pain says, “Something outside me has hurt me.” Death says, “Life ends.” And generation after generation inherits the same interpretation and calls it reality.

What I love about ACIM is that it doesn’t ask us to replace one complicated worldview with another. It keeps bringing us back to something much simpler: "Perhaps what I am seeing does not mean what I think it means?"

ENDING FAT INSTABILITY

For the first time in a long, long life, I feel stable.

It is boring sometimes.

There is less drama, less urgency, less emotional weather pretending to be meaning.

But in a million years, I would not go back.

I would not go back to the fat instability of mind and body.

Six years of fasting have made the body lighter.

A year and a half of breathwork has made the mind quiet.

Routine has made the days trustworthy.

There is coffee in hand, a warm fire, Pete nearby, the dogs moving through the morning, and a body that no longer feels like an emergency waiting to happen.

None of this is glamorous.

It is simply a life that no longer needs to keep exploding into illness, falls, and confusion to prove that I am alive.

Sometimes peace is boring.

Good.

Boring is underrated.

Dans la confusion actuelle où les rumeurs remplacent trop souvent la connaissance, il nous parait important de publier ici La loi Yadan (https://www.assemblee-nationale.fr/dyn/17/textes/l17b2358_texte-adopte-commission) que chacun·e pourra lire ainsi que le contenu d’une pétition contre cette loi qui rassemble aujourd’hui près de 200 000 personnes (https://petitions.assemblee-nationale.fr/initiatives/i-5158).

Si nous avons publié des critiques et dénoncé de potentielles dérives autour d’une loi qui nous parait poser plus de problèmes qu’elle n’en prétend résoudre (https://raar.info/2026/01/28/non-a-la-proposition-yadan-oui-a-la-lutte-contre-l-antisemitisme/), la mobilisation autour de sa dénonciation en forme de pétition et d’interpellation des pouvoirs publics nous paraît troublante à plusieurs égards.

Et il nous semble qu’elle devrait interpeller l’ensemble des forces progressistes.

La pétition (https://petitions.assemblee-nationale.fr/initiatives/i-5158) déforme la proposition de loi en lui faisant die ce qu’elle ne dit pas : la critique de la politique d’Israël y est clairement admise mais cette loi vise à lutter contre l’appel à la destruction d’un seul pays au monde.

Ce qui n’est pas la même chose.

Et il est essentiel de rappeler que cette interdiction ne vise pas exclusivement Israël : elle pourrait tout autant s’appliquer à celles et ceux qui rejettent l’existence de la Palestine.

La pétition comporte en outre trois phrases selon nous fort problématiques :

1) " la colonisation de la Palestine par Israël " ; parle-t-on de la Cisjordanie, par exemple, qui relève du fait colonial, ou de tout le territoire actuel d’Israël, ce qui reviendrait à soutenir la destruction de cet État, L’expression " de la mer au Jourdain ", utilisée par ailleurs prêtant à une grave confusion.

2) " Oui, la résistance palestinienne contre l'occupant israélien par tous les moyens nécessaires est un droit garanti par la résolution des Nations Unies 2621 XXV du 12 décembre 1970 ".

S’agit-il d’un consentement à ce qui s’est passé le 7 octobre ?

Dit autrement les rapts et assassinats de nourrissons, le viol massif des femmes, les tortures et assassinats s’inscrivent-ils dans " tous les moyens " ?

Présents dans la solidarité avec le peuple palestinien, il nous semble que cette confusion n’a pas favorisé la nécessaire mobilisation, mais l’a au contraire fragilisée.

De même que l’apologie de ces crimes fut une claire violence contre les Juifs du monde. Comment l’ignorer ?

3) Enfin la dernière phrase nous paraît relever encore une fois, non d’une critique, mais d’une criminalisation de cette loi : " Député.e.s, je vous appelle à voter contre ce projet de loi liberticide appuyant une politique colonialiste et génocidaire contre les Palestinien.ne.s. "

En outre et c’est peut-être le plus grave, cette pétition pèche aussi par l’implicite qu’elle recouvre.

Elle vise à transformer une loi qui se veut protectrice envers une minorité en une menace pour la liberté d’expression, comme si cette minorité était en réalité… aux commandes d’un ordre coercitif visant à museler l’expression des libertés.

Il suffit d’ailleurs de regarder les nombreux commentaires antisémites sous cet appel à pétitionner, parlant clairement de lobby juif et de contrôle mondial, pour constater à quel point l’implicite finit souvent par libérer l’affranchissement de la parole antisémite.

Nous avons critiqué cette loi (https://raar.info/2026/01/28/non-a-la-proposition-yadan-oui-a-la-lutte-contre-l-antisemitisme/), mais nous sommes aujourd’hui inquiets face à l’ampleur d’une dénonciation aussi violente que caricaturale, pouvant libérer des imaginaires tout à fait contraire aux missions des organisations de lutte contre le racisme.
