IzzyOnDroid declined my diary app in nine minutes: too much AI code.

F-Droid has no such policy and merged it in eight days. During the test round a volunteer found a startup crash I had shipped without noticing.

Since then I test other people's submissions, around 100 merge requests in the review queue. The dev who was too AI for one repo now reviews apps for another.

Well I am pleased to say my first ever app #Im2SMS is now live on #Fdroid. A simple app to convert #whatsapp messages into the phones internal sms storage.

With support for more platforms in the future. It is the latest 1.6 update that adds support for group chat conversion.

Ich wollte schon seit gestern diese Frage fragen, die eigentlich keine Frage ist sondern eine Feststellung, aber auf Grund des Unterhaltungswertes als Frage formuliert ist: Warum ist eigentlich die AntennaPod App (https://antennapod.org, gibts bei fdriod;-) soviel besser als die ARD "Sound" App, die als ARD Audiothek App schon meh war und jetzt quasi unbenutzbar ist???

- Migrated #SyncthingFork to new version after much delay
- Woah when did #fdroid Basic change its looks. I miss the old one...
- Pushed a huge 'version' change to my site (I really need to do update the changelog)

I found it a little bit more fiddly (than on #UbuntuTouch) to get Waydroid working in #PostmarketOS but this wiki page was helpful:

After that, downloading the #fdroid apk and installing AuroraStore was plain sailing. So in short AuroraStore is already supported (in a way, i.e. in an Android container) in Linux on mobile devices.

#Olauncher tip: you can rename applications in the all-applications drawer with an emoji at the beginning so tat they get sorted to the top of the list. That way you get six extra hand-picked launchers on a secondary screen from the main eight.

The application names aren't sorted, because the emojis are different, but you could probably use something like a bullet "•" instead so that the names remain sorted.

RIP the official #fdroid client (as of 2.0-rc0). The ui lags like hell. Feels like I am using a "web" "app". The search seems broken: searching for "droid" brings no results. (Had to find droid-ify manually through categories.) And the "back" input closes the program instead of closing the search ui. Enshittification at its finest.

@clouderst @grote Update #FDroid full today, you'll get the same + extra features over Basic.
