@Lioh Das ist auch eine sehr gute Idee, habe selber ein Fairphone 4 mit #e_OS gerootet und bin mit dem Smartphone und eOS zufrieden.

Wobei ich ein Dualboot am liebsten nutzen würde. Also z.B. eOS, #IodeOS oder #grapheneos damit ich auf F-Droid zugreifen kann und googlefree bin. Alternativ möchte ich aber #ubuntutouch starten können um komplett vom Android losgelöst zu sein. Das Smartphone von @volla kommt der Sache schon sehr nahe. Wobei ich mir das Konzept des modularen #shiftphone auch gut gefällt, nur leider kein Dualboot. Möchte nicht mit zwei Geräten herumlaufen.

Kann man selber ein Dualboot auf einrn Faiphone einrichten?

I really wanted to switch to a FairPhone 6 with /e/OS but on my current /e/OS test device I can find no way to accept certificates into the trust store.
I run a lot of selfhosted services in my home net with a self signed cert - If I can‘t rund them that would be a real problem for me.

Did I miss something here or is there any chance you could add a certificate import (as Android removed that some time ago)

Je cherche un moyen de gérer mes voyages en trains mieux qu'avec les emails... J'ai un téléphone #android ( #e_os pour être exact 😉 ).

J'ai essayé #KDE Itinerary qui semble parfais sur le papier, mais sur mon petit téléphone l'appli est assez inutilisable. Cependant je n'ai rien vus d'Open source d'équivalent.
Il y a #Catima qui permet de gérer des cartes qui s'en rapproche un peu, mais c'est clairement pas fait pour des voyages.

La fonction qui me manque le plus c'est juste : enregistrer mes billets quelque part et les voir apparaître le jour J !

So Fairphone bestellt. Prüfe noch ob meine Banking App und MS Team (brauch ich leider für die Arbeit) funktionieren.

2 days with my #Fairphone running #e_os and I can do ALL of my essentials (and more) in life without Google. For the handful of apps trying to send analytics data to Google, it's refreshing to see how the Advanced Privacy is blocking all of those connections.

Un peu dépité par l'annonce, je reste reconnaissant à tout l'écosystème (et merci /e/OS #e_OS !). Et ce sont les pièces détachées qui finiront par manquer avant le logiciel.

Par contre, l'article indique bizarrement : « Fairphone conseille aussi d’aller farfouiller du côté de […] postmarketOS »

Sauf que ce système n'est (malheureusement) pas disponible pour cette génération de #Fairphone …

I really like my current smartphone, the Samsung Galaxy A55, and I still believe that my decision back then to choose this specific model over the newer A56 at the time was the better choice, especially because of the expandable SD card and the fact that there’s less “AI” stuff in the system.

Nevertheless, I’m watching the development of Samsung’s A-series with concern due to the increasing integration of “AI,” which will likely lead me to eventually move away from this company and its otherwise relatively good devices. 🤔

Mein aktuelles Smartphone namens Galaxy A55 von Samsung mag ich wirklich sehr und bin zudem auch immer noch der Meiung das meine Entscheidung von einst für explizit dieses Modell anstatt dem damaligen neueren A56 die bessere Wahl war, besonders wegen der erweiterbaren SD-Karte sowie weniger "AI"-Zeug im System.

Dennoch beobachte ich mit Sorge die Entwicklung der A-Serie von Samsung mit der zunehmenden Integration von "AI", was wohl langfristig dazu führen wird das ich fort gehen werde von dieser Firma und dessen ansonsten relativ guten Geräten. 🤔
