Somebody on here running /e/OS on a Samsung S23 by any chance? LineageOS does list it but /e/ does not...but maybe someone tried it anyway? Would love to turn it into something less google.

2 days with my #Fairphone running #e_os and I can do ALL of my essentials (and more) in life without Google. For the handful of apps trying to send analytics data to Google, it's refreshing to see how the Advanced Privacy is blocking all of those connections.

I just installed KDE Connect on my #nixos laptop and it's absolutely amazing! Seamless integration between my laptop and phone. Send files, clipboard, SMS, etc.

It proves that the choice between freedom and seamlessness (i.e. walled gardens) is a false dichotomy; you can have both.

Was mich in der Tat am meisten nervt, ist beim ausprobieren das #Display. Liegt das an der #AMOLED Technologie?

Ich fühl mich, als würde ich in den leuchtenden Rachen eines Regenbogen-kotzenden Einhorns schauen. Mit Lupe.

Das Display ist so krass Knallbonbon-mäßig, das macht kein Spaß. Kann man die Sättigung irgendwie per Software runterregeln?

Es ist doch zum verrückt werden. Jetzt hat im #degooogled #eOS die Krankenkassen-App (DAK) plötzlich angefangen zu funktionieren und dann weigert sich jetzt #SecureGoPlus für das 2FA bei der Bank.

Könnten sich die Dienstleister die für die Apps verantwortlich sind bitte mal entscheiden welche Umgebung sie jetzt als sicher betrachten und welche nicht?

Allerdings hab ich das quasi schon die ganze Zeit auf 60Hz eingestellt, weil die 90Hz Option nen Bug hat, dass die Wiederholrate nach Display aus/an eher unter 30Hz entspricht 😐

Ok, I managed to switch my brand new Fairphone 5 from stock android to /e/OS and de-google it.
Had some issues with fastboot but somehow it worked now. I’ve got no idea what I actually did 😹
Anyway, I didn’t brick the phone so that’s in itself a reason to celebrate 🎉
Now all that’s left to do is get my data from my old Fairphone 2 to the Fairphone 5
