Die letzten Wochen bin ich tatsächlich in Sachen Videoschnitt mit Kdenlive und Grafik-Design mit Inkscape, etc. wieder am Zweifeln angekommen. Manche Dinge verlangsamen den Workflow enorm. Insbesonders wenn man von der Affinity-Suite und DaVinci Resolve kommt.
Dennoch möchte ich den Wechsel von Windows zu Linux nicht rückgängig machen.
Ich bleibe also hartnäckig!

If you film videos of any kind on #GrapheneOS may I wholeheartedly recommend the "Blackmagic Camera" app, which can be found on the #AuroraStore. It's produced by the same folks who make #DaVinciResolve.
It might just be a me problem, but the GrapheneOS camera app (which works really nicely for point and shoot photography) goes a bit glitchy and out of sync with audio when I film stuff, I think because it's variable framerate, and my editing software likes it locked.

After some years of using #Lightworks for professional #video, I'm trying to learn #DaVinciResolve now.
Feeling like a complete idiot. I just want to align audio from my recorder with the video and cut the ends. I know none of the keyboard shortcuts and nothing is obvious. I know what I want to do, but I don't know where the menu items are. (ChatGPT doesn't know either, btw. – funny they try to charge money for it.)
I love Lightworks. Yet it has a nasty OpenGL bug that apparently only shows on my #UbuntuStudio #Linux machine and I have tried to communicate with developers for 1.5 years or so about this. I simply can't work with it any more. They apparently don't care.

Now Question for #DaVinciResolve (on #Linux ) users, does the pay for version support videos from DJI Action 4 camera? The free version when importing the videos they are blank with no audio, which I read means it doesn't support the codec that the camera is outputting. I really wanted to give DaVinci a try, it looks amazing.. but if it wont work with my camera, that sucks lol, and I don't wanna pay for it to find out it still doesn't work.
