So... those #AMD BC-250 singleboard #APUs have apparently 16 gb of DDR6 memory on them. These boards go for like $100-$150 on ebay, but ram is worth 10 times that. One of my friends in an #EE and we've gotten the idea to try and scrape one of these for ram and create our own DDR6 ram stick from scratch. If we can do this, these things become a gold mine. Zoom sur une espèce : le #Martinetpâle

"Le Martinet pâle (Apus pallidus) est une espèce habitant les pourtours de la Méditerranée, de l’Espagne et du Maroc, jusqu’à la Turquie et même jusqu’au Golfe d’Oman, sur la côte méridionale iranienne. En France, l’espèce est localisée au littoral méditerranéen, à l’exception de la célèbre colonie de l’Hôtel Dieu à Toulouse, d’une petite colonie à Biarritz et, plus récemment, à Bordeaux (2014) et Lyon (2023).

Dans les Pyrénées-Orientales, l’espèce est assez commune sur tout le littoral, de Cerbère au Barcarès. La grande majorité des sites de reproduction sont urbains mais une part encore méconnue de la population niche sur les falaises côtières du massif des Albères (cap Cerbère, Cap Rédéris, Cap de l’Abeille…). En dehors du littoral, l’espèce, beaucoup plus localisée, niche à Rivesaltes (Collège), Perpignan et les viaducs de l’Autoroute A9 entre le Boulou et la frontière espagnole".

Yesterday we had another successful #Hackergarten, this week in #Lucerne. About ten great people who worked on three really interesting projects. Included was a plugin for #Chrome browsers, a circuit board for a custom split #keyboard, and the social media wall #Apus was there once again. It was great fun and we learned something new, too. Yesterday evening was #Hackergarten in #Zurich again. We worked very successfully on #Apus, a social media wall for conferences.
