Making small gift for the college kid, photos of our cats in their natural habitats. Tried to get printed at staples, "we don't do that, CVS does." They do? They barely have employees.
I remembered a dusty stack of printer paper from 20+ years ago when I used to do this. How hard could it be? Sure, the brother inkjet runs out of colored ink shortly after inserting a new cartridge, but this is all B&W, we'll be fine."Yellow ink low!", "Update is ready to install!" Oh ffs.
What I didn't expect was feed mechanism grabbing glossy and regular paper at same time, but it made for an interesting comparison of the "color" of B&W. After the struggles to get it sized, printed, trimmed, and inserted into old garage sale metal frames I think they'll look fine in a dorm room.
